Beer Dinner Prep, Part 3

We went shopping today for groceries for the beer dinner. Royce, Jeff, and me. Dan couldn’t go, he had to work. What??? Dan, you’re self-employed! Ask the boss for an afternoon off!

We found everything we needed in just 3 stops, except the meat which we ordered from Egolf’s IGA in Churubusco to be picked up tomorrow.

The Supplies

In the picture center, an abundance of acorn squash, to the right jicama for the salad, and trailing to the background oranges, apples, onion, and red bell peppers also for the salad. Towards the back German-style mustard and caraway seeds for the sauerkraut balls and rye bread.

Good stuff. The cooks will be gathering at 10am tomorrow when the cooking will begin in earnest.
