Jay the mason was here again this weekend and the Big Stone Cooking Area continues to come together.
The fire brick that will be the bread oven.
The blocks laid in a circle for the firepit. You can see a few fire bricks in place, and the flue going over to the smoker. The concept is to build a fire in the fire pit and the smoke will be drawn through that flue and up the smoker to smoke whatever we might put in it.
Jay laid the stone on the back side of the cooking area today and it looked just incredible.
Owen is surveying his domain from the pile of dirt left from digging the footer and finding it to his liking.
