2012?

All summer long last year it seemed the National Weather Service would predict rain, and we’d get 6 drops. We’d watch rain on the radar build up and dissipate before it got to us. And we watched our crops wither in the fields.

This week the NWS predicted a 70% chance of rain on Tuesday. No rain on Tuesday, then the prediction shifted to Wednesday. Wednesday brought 6 drops of rain in morning, then sun. Is this 2012 all over again?

Then about 5 o’clock the rain came rolling across the fields.

We only got about 2 tenths, but it is so soothing to the soul to see rain falling from the sky.
