Cerulean

Cerulean at Winona Lake is one of the area’s outstanding restaurants. You can check them out on-line here. We’ve been twice now and the food is very good and very different from what you find elsewhere in this area.

They bill themselves as a Restaurant and Sushi Lounge, but what we’ve gone for are the tapas. Potatoes with pancetta and roasted garlic dip, asparagus with pancetta and manchego cheese, and honey-balsamic pork loin with seared strawberries; all fantastic.

Their tapas portions are quite generous compared to most tapas places I’ve visited. Ordering 2 per person plus one extra for the table makes a satisfying meal.

Service is top-notch. It is paced slowly, so be prepared to relax and enjoy yourself.

The wine list, like the food, is unusual and reasonably priced. They also offer a wide range of specialty beers.

It’s definitely worth the drive to Winona Lake.
