That was in November, so no wildflowers then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today I went over to the Crooked Lake Nature Preserve to hike their trails.  It&#8217;s a two mile trail, up and down hills, and along the shore of Crooked Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wildflowers were just coming out.  I saw a bald eagle, woodpeckers, and a brown thrasher.  I heard Canada geese (of course), and loons and wood ducks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only thing that would&#8217;ve made it better would be if I&#8217;d had my love on my arm.
