This was an episode where Howard<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2242\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2242\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleftt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/chuckzumbrun.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/howard.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/chuckzumbrun.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/howard-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"howard\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-2242\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2242\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Howard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>is invited on a mission to the International Space Station.  Howard&#8217;s girlfriend tries to talk him out of it; she&#8217;s worried about his safety and so on.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2243\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2243\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/chuckzumbrun.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/iss.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/chuckzumbrun.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/iss-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"iss\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-2243\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2243\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ISS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I turned to Debbie and said, &#8220;If I get a chance to go to space, you won&#8217;t try to talk me out of it, will you?&#8221;  She looked at me and said, &#8220;You take Dramamine\u00ae when you get on an airliner.  You think you&#8217;re going into space?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Brutal, but true.  I can&#8217;t read in a car, the weightless sensation in an airplane makes me beg for a crash to end it, and I wouldn&#8217;t ride a roller coaster for all the money in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Another dream crushed.
