I was skeptical, and Debbie approached it with trepidation, but it was shockingly good.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin:10px; padding: 10px; background: #FFFEEB; border: 1px solid black;\">\n<b>Asparagus Guacamole<\/b><br \/>\n<i>Serves 2<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients<\/b><br \/>\n1\/2 half fresh jalapeno, diced fine<br \/>\n1\/2 pound asparagus<br \/>\n1\/4-1\/2 cup Greek yogurt<br \/>\n1 green onion, chopped<br \/>\n1\/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro<br \/>\n1 lime, juiced<br \/>\nGarlic powder, salt, and pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<p><b>Procedure<\/b><br \/>\nSteam the asparagus until crisp-tender.<br \/>\nPlunge in cold water to stop the cooking<br \/>\nPut the asparagus, yogurt, jalapeno, and onion in a food processor.  Process until fairly smooth.  You can make it as chunky or as smooth as you like.  Add more or less yogurt (sour cream would be nice too) to your taste.<br \/>\nTransfer from the food processor to a bowl and stir in the cilantro, lime juice, and spices.<br \/>\nCover with plastic wrap and chill.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with tortilla chips.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If I had had tomatoes, I would have diced a handful and stirred that in with cilantro.  But it was quite tasty without the tomato too.
