My Ideal Bookshelf

I’ve been reading “My Ideal Bookshelf” that Debbie got me on the recommendation of our friends Jeff and Deena Rosswurm. It’s languished on my reading stack for months and with planting season winding down I picked it up the other night.

Wow! What a great book. If you like books and haven’t read this you need run out[1] and get a copy[2].

The book shows a painting of a person’s ideal bookshelf, and then has a facing page describing why this person chose these books.

I was inspired to a take a picture of mine. This isn’t really my ideal bookshelf, it’s just what I have stacked around me just now.

1. Right now! Log off the Internet and do it now!

2. Get a copy from your local library, or at least a local bookstore. They need you.

3. Sorry Josh. While many people have “The Great Gatsby” on their ideal bookshelves, it’s not on mine.
