Kim Vu

Kim Vu is a tiny storefront Vietnamese restaurant that has opened recently in Fort Wayne. It’s located just west of Coldwater Road on Dupont. It’s in that strip mall behind the Casa’s restaurant that is right along Dupont Road.

The decor is basic and the menu is not huge. They have Vietnamese and Chinese favorites. Most importantly to me they have pho tai, Vietnamese beef noodle soup.

Kim Vu has splendid pho tai, and everything else I’ve had there was good too. It’s well worth a visit.

They’re open every day for lunch and dinner, and they have carry-out too.

They even have a website.

12/30/12: Latebreaking news! Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette restaurant reviewer Ryan Duvall will have a review of Kim Vu in the January 6 Journal-Gazette.

We tried a small variety of appetizers and our server was very nice about explaining what things were before and after ordering…and…more importantly, how to eat them. I thought everything was wonderful.
